Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty has been pictured recently sporting what looks like a gaping wound in his nose.
The new pictures show Doherty with a bleeding rotting nose that friends fear may be as a result of drug use�
The damage to his nose was so bad that even fans watching a gig noticed it.
According to the Daily Star one said: �It looked awful. There was such a lot of people shocked that he turned up in such a state.
�The man is a mess. Maybe its time he was locked up for his own good.�
Doherty was recently ordered to start a 12 month rehabilitation programme by a court after he was stopped by police who found Class A drugs on him.
His ex-girlfriend Kate Moss successfully completed a 28 day rehab course after she was allegedly pictured snorting cocaine in the Daily Mirror.
Moss later paid for Doherty to attend the same course but he quit after a few day�thus ending their relationship.
However, his friends still don�t sound too hopeful about Doherty�s chances of living a clean life, one said: �Let�s hope it�s just a sore nose. Pete knows that if he fails a drugs test he�ll be in prison.�
