People's Choice Awards 2014: Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Kaley Cuoco & Britney Spears Hit Star-Studded Event

Stars of the big and small screen made their way onto the red carpet

Last night saw the stars of the big and small screen come together for the 2014 People's Choice Awards in LA.

And with the start of awards season upon them, our favourite celebrities made sure they were red carpet ready as they made their way to the event. With an array of awards up for grabs in music, film and TV, all was to play for as the star studded show began.

But before that, the likes of Sandra Bullock, The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, Glee's Naya Rivera and model Heidi Klum walked the red carpet.

A selection of dresses were paraded on the red carpet with Jennifer Hudson decided to dress in an all white dress. Jessica Alba appeared to have the same idea as she also opted for a white dress, which she teamed up with a pair of white heels.

Whilst Jennifer's dress was an elegant just off the shoulder number with long sleeves, Jessica rocked the sultry look with her strapless gown.

Adding a pop of colour to last night's proceedings was Gravity actress Sandra Bullock who went for a floral dress. But she wasn't the only one to bring a bit of colour to the red carpet as Lucy Hale opted to wear a patterned one shouldered dress.

Dark colours also appeared to be a theme last night as Nina Dobrev opted for a tight fitting part bejeweled, part black dress. Heidi Klum also switched things up a bit as she went for a very revealing and cleavage baring black and white floor length gown.

Whilst the ladies stunned on the red carpet, the men of the celebrity world did too with Ian Somerhalder looking super sexy in a black suit. Justin Timberlake also looked impressive in his dapper suit.
