Brtiney Spears must have been so nervous last night, kicking off her Vegas residency in a concert hall full of critics, photographers and celebrities but she didn't need to worry. Judging by the pictures, all the A-listers in the audience were absolutely loving her opening show.
Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Adam Lambert headed to Las Vegas to see their idol perform her greatest hits. They were obviously having a good time as you can see them dancing and singing away in the VIP section.
Miley Cyrus was dancing with Britney's mum, Lynne, and she also went over to chat and hug Katy Perry, who was seated next to Selena Gomez. Selena was also loving life while at the show, taking a selfie with songwriter Sia Furler, who brought her along.

Katy was clearly excited about attending the gig, tweeting, "Soy excited to see britneyspears baby bottle pop it off tonight at her grand opening phvegas! We are coming in full lewks to support!"
Britney even tweeted her friends following her show to thank them for their support. She wrote to Miley, who she recently collaborated with on her BANGERZ album, "Love you so much! Thank you for coming to #PieceOfMe! I adore you".

To Katy she wrote, "Was SOOOO good to see you again girl! Glad we could make our Vegas date happen".
Last night marked the first of Britney's 'Piece of Me' two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Judging by her recent tour documentary, the production was seriously behind schedule and they were still making changes right up until this week, but the reviews coming out of last night are mostly positive so the stress was worth it.
None of the critics can deny that she puts on an energetic, entertaining show which has very high production values. The only criticisms seem to be about her lack of interaction with the audience and her probable lip-synching, given that the numbers sound like the studio version despite her insane dance moves.
