Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd is celebrating the birth of his baby boy, two weeks after the baby's due date.
The 25-year-old, who plays David Platt on the hit ITV show, has named his baby with fiancee Lauren Shippey, Reuben and revealed that he was 'masssssive', but that mother and baby were doing well after the birth.
Jack announced the news earlier today, after Reuben's arrival late last night. In a tweet to his 249,000 followers, the star wrote: "Baby's here! Thank The Lord, a boy Reuben. 8 pound 12 Masssssive! Was born yesterday night at 22:40 Lauren and Reuben are doing fine. X."

While Jack had gone to the Corrie Christmas party on Friday, he did tell his followers that he wasn't able to enjoy it as much because his baby was late.
"Just been to work's Christmas doo, sober waiting on baby Sheps, 10 days over due! :-/," he tweeted. This is the couple's second child together, as they have four-year-old Nyla.
In an interview with New! magazine, Jack spoke of his excitement about having another baby.
"The baby is due at the end of the year and we are both delighted. I want four children. Nyla is dead easy," he said.

Jack, who has been dating hair and make-up artist Lauren since they were 14, recently admitted he’d love to have four children.
The couple, who are engaged, have had their ups and downs, with Jack releasing an apology in March 2011 after it was revealed that he had had a one-night stand with Sammy Milewski which resulted in the birth of son Greyson, now two.
In his public apology, he said: "I would like to apologise to my family for all the hurt and pain I've caused them and ITV for letting them down.
"But especially I want to say sorry to Lauren and Nyla - the most important people in my life."
