The Beatles will be honored during this years Grammys celebrations. The legendary group is set to receive an honorary Lifetime Achievement Award in a special ceremony that is held the night before the Grammy Awards.
Along with the Beatles, R & B music sensations the Isley Brothers, and electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk will also be receiving the lifetime honors.
Sir Paul McCartney himself is showing no signs of slowing down as a solo artist. The 71-year-old is also up for three awards separate from the lifetime honor.

Last week, the Grammys announced the full list of nominations for the Awards ceremony. Some of the key nominations include Jay-Z who is nominated for nine awards, Justin Timberlake who has received seven nominations, and 17-year-old Lorde who is nominated for four awards.
Not everyone is happy with the nominations however. Kanye West, who has received two nominations for his album Yeezus, spoke out at his concert in Phoenix about how disappointed he was that the album only received two nods.
“Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list,” said Kanye. “But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say?”
The Grammy Awards will take place on January 26 2014.
