Kate Hudson isn’t sure about cutting her hair to rock the trendy pixie cut that star including Jennifer Lawrence are known for flaunting.
The actress is known for her long tresses and admits she won’t change up her look much because she is comfortable with flowing locks.
Kate – who is engaged to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy and has two sons – confessed that she keeps her mane simple.
“No, not for me. If I had to do it for a role maybe, but I wouldn’t just do a pixie,” she told People magazine.
“I like having long hair. I have one friend and she almost has a long buzz cut and she looks gorgeous. But I don’t how my ears would look in a pixie. I don’t know if it’s right for me.”

The blonde explained that she isn’t that talented in terms of handling a tricky cut that requires good persona maintenance.
Her current look can already get out of hand if she doesn’t used the right products to tame it.
“I like a leave-in conditioner. My hair is a bit frizzy and curly in places, so I also use a Moroccan and Argan oil,” she shared.
“I can keep up with the makeup. The hair stuff, that’s a low point for me in terms of my ability. For a girl like me, Drybar’s a saviour. I’m either in a bun or having someone else figure it out.”
Kate is currently promoting Almay’s new CC luminising primer, which she counts as the reason why her complexion looks so good.
The brand’s spokesmodel is glad the product does many things at once.
“I want a moisturiser and SPF coverage in one, and I don’t want to work so hard to get a good finish,” she said.
“I feel like I’m always impressed with what Almay comes out with and how they organise them to be easy to apply and accessible. No fussy products. Everything blends easy. And the products with SPFs leave no residue.”
So while luminous skin isn’t something she’ll be requesting from Santa this Christmas, she is looking to a luxury item instead.
Kate revealed that designer footwear would be her top pick of what to unwrap on December 25, but she’d feel guilty about purchasing them herself.
“Tom Ford thigh-high patchwork boots. They’re pink, purple, black and just ridiculous. It’s not something I would buy for myself. They’re ones to drool over,” she added.
