Chris Penn's Death Was Accidental

The recently deceased actor Chris Penn died accidentally it has been revealed.

Penn, 40, died from an enlarged heart according to the Los Angeles coroner�s office, and from the effects of a combination of medications.

The �Reservoir Dogs� actor and younger brother of Sean Penn was found at his Californian home on January 24.

Chief coroner investigator Craig Harvey says: "There is absolutely no indication that this is anything but an accident.

"We know he had several prescriptions, including promethazine with codeine, which featured predominantly in his death. We don't know how much he ingested or when. There are a lot of 'what ifs' to be factored in."

Penn�s most recent film �The Darwin Awards� premiered at the Sundance Film Festival the day after his death.
