'The Pink Panther' Tops The US Box Office
�The Pink Panther� marked its opening weekend by clawing its way to the top of the box office making a massive $21.7million.

The new version of the film starring Steve Martin and Beyonce Knowles topped the box office on a weekend literally swamped with new releases.

The film which originally starred Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau attracted a broad range of people to cinemas. Sony�s head of distribution, Rory Bruer said: "It was just all over the place, kids, parents, teenagers. We had everybody,"

�Final Destination 3� came a close second grossing $20.1million; �Curious George� made $15.3million while the new Harrison Ford film �Firewall� made a paltry  $13,8million...bring on Indiana Jones!!!
