Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry Wedding Claims Slammed As 'Ludicrous' By Socialite's Brother

Looks like we won't be getting another big day like Kate Middleton's anytime soon

Cressida Bonas' half-brother Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthrope has slammed claims his sister is planning to marry Prince Harry as "ludicrous" according to a new report.

The blonde has been dating the prince for 18 months now and after spending most of the Summer together, it was claimed a proposal wasn't far off. But rubbishing the claims, 30 year-old babe Jacobi has insisted claims of an impending wedding is "ludicrous," he reportedly told The Evening Standard.

Admitting the 24 year-old was struggling with the pressure of being a royal WAG, he said: "She's not a tough cookie at all,"

"She's a very sensitive, sweet girl, all my family are — they're incredible.

"It's challenging, you can't deny it," he went on, "It's not something that is easy for anyone dating a royal or marrying into the family or anyone in the royal family themselves.

"I think on some level it is different to any other type of fame," he mused.

Since going public with the romance, Cressida has become an immediate A lister. As everything with the royals, the girl who might just have snagged the most eligible bachelor on the planet, is a huge point of interest, something Jacobi admitted Cressida has been forced to adjust to.

"It's just an invasion of privacy, which is hard," he said, "I mean, there are people who court that, and it's a different mentality. But when you're not, and you have to spend your life hiding from it, I think that becomes very exhausting and quite hard work.

"And at times … I think it's a difficult thing, I think it's a very difficult thing," he added.

While he might not be expectinga proposal sometime soon, he did concede that his family could become the next Middletons, who recieve nearly as much attention as the royal family themselves.

"It does. And it worries me," he said of becoming in-laws to the royals. "But you've got to go with life and see how things progress."
