She's one of, if not the, world's most versatile actresses and can turn her hand to pretty much any part - but can Meryl Streep really take off Susan Boyle?
Having wowed as former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 2011 - a role that won her the Oscar - she has been asked to play the Scottish singer in a biopic about her. Well, according to SuBo anyway!
The Britain's Got Talent legend says the actress has been asked about taking on the part.
Boyle, 52, revealed to Metro the Iron Lady star is the first choice to play her on the big screen and said: "I wouldn’t like to be in the film myself.

"I’d like someone to play me. Probably Meryl Streep – I understand she has been approached."
Boyle shot to fame in 2009 when she appeared on Britain's Got Talent and wowed the judges with her rendition of I Dream A Dream from Les Miserables. She lost the competition to dance troupe Diversity but went on to achieve international fame and is said to now be worth millions of pounds.
But despite her small fortune, she still lives in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland, shops at Tesco and still owns the modest four-bedroom home she was raised in.
She had a word of advice for any other reality TV or TV talent show stars and warned them: "If you are successful, watch the people you go with because if you don’t have a good team about you it’s all too easy to fall into wee traps."
Boyle is due to release her Home For Christmas album, but said she felt little more than a singing puppet while making it and said: "I just more or less did what I was told."
And although she said she wouldn't want to be in any film about her life, she does make a cameo in the forthcoming flick Christmas Candle.
The Brit flick also stars Samantha Barks and Lesley Manville and tells the story of the legend of an angel who visits the village candlemaker every 25 years and touches a single candle.
Whoever lights this candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve - until the dawn of the electric age which threatens this age old tradition.
