Manchester United players are currently up in arms over plans for them to travel to Qatar just days before they are scheduled to play Wigan in the Carling Cup Final.
The club is trying to arrange the friendly game so that players can travel 16 hours and 7,000 miles in the week leading up to the important games.
The American owners of the club, the Glazer family are desperate for players to make the journey so they can boost their chances of gaining a new strip sponsor.
The Glazers have been trying to negotiate a deal with the airline United Arab Emirates and believe the players being in the Middle East would aid their bid.
Its seems that club owners are willing to run the risk of big name players becoming injured in the friendly game that will be sandwiched between all important games with Liverpool and Wigan.
However, the team desperate needs a new strip sponsor after Vodafone pulled out of a four year deal after just two yearsthey could all end playing with their kit off!!!
