Joseph, 32, is better known for her roles in Australian soap �Home and Away� and the UK drama series �Cold Feet�.
Her �Lost� character, Cindy, has been brought back by producers for another stint of filming.
She said of the experience: "I ended up spending five weeks on set in Hawaii, which was just fantastic. It was a great opportunity and I thoroughly enjoyed it."
"I learnt to surf while I was there, it was such a cool time. Hawaii just has these lovely undulating waves, it was the perfect spot for learning."
The second series of �Lost� kicks on in the UK later this year.
