It seems things didn’t go so well for Natalie Portman at a posh event at Buckingham Palace, when the actress accidentally sparked a fire in front of Prince Charles.
The ‘Black Swan’ star and dancer husband, Benjamin Millepied, recently attended a ballet benefit at the royal venue, where the 32-year-old accidentally started a dinner table blaze.
In an interview on 'The Late Show' with David Letterman Natalie revealed: "We drive up and it's all the lords and ladies, it's all, like, the fancy people in England, and we walk in and they have this beautiful performance for us... Prince Charles speaks... and then afterwards they have this long dinner for, like, 200 people at this very long table and they separate the couples.
"My husband is seated at, like, one end and I'm at the other; Prince Charles is like diagonal of me and I'm seated next to all these lords and ladies."

A man she was sat beside distracted the actress and once she began chatting to him, she didn’t notice she had placed her programme down on top of a candle on the table.
The star embarrassingly continued: "The guy next to me is super nice... and I'm talking to him... and all of sudden he looks over my shoulder and he's like, 'Ahhh,' and I look back... and the table was on fire, and so all these lords and ladies are like smacking it, pouring water, there's, like, 10 guards that rush in..."
Natalie also recently gushed about another Brit, her co-actor Tom Hiddleston, who she worked with on the latest Thor adventure.
“Tom is just so, so awesome. He’s one of the great people to work with. He’s so fun and funny and smart and talented and he’s just phenomenal," she recently told Moviefone about Hiddleston.
“And it was so great to slap him because he really let me go for it and always had a cheeky response and punctuated it well."
