Ashlee Simpson has admitted to acting like a dick on that McDonalds counter in Toronto in November.

Simpson was drunk when she was caught on CCTV camera�s asking fellow customers to kiss her feet and being rude to restaurant staff.

Now she is promoting her new single �Boyfriend� she has been forced to address the embarrassing episode.

She said: "I was being a little, you know, silly and crazy that day.

The guy in line behind me was like, 'Uh, you're gross' but he didn't know who I was until I turned around. Then he was like, 'Can I have my picture with you?'" and I was like, 'Dude, you called me gross!'"

Reports at the time alleged that Simpson also called a member of staff a bitch before claiming she was a very nice person�whatever!!!

Ashlee is like any other person loads of people do those things. but it doesnâ€™t happen on camera to normal people but it happens to a celebrity. Sheâ€™s just like any other college kid people should give her a break. Sheâ€™s a normal young person.

I agree with lizzy that other people do these things and that celebritys get caught but normal people donâ€™t. I think people should just leave her alone. She is being herself thats why I look up to her. And other people should too.

A wise man once said, â€Never forget the words of a drunken or angry manâ€ (ie. thatâ€™s what theyâ€™re REALLY like). In this case, the issue wasnâ€™t being rude. It was the big insight into the giant ego of Ashlee Simpson. Telling the man standing behind her that â€you wouldnâ€™t kiss my feetâ€ and betting a minimum wage earning staffer â€$5 millionâ€ shows a LOT about dear Ashleeâ€™s opinion of herself and others. No wonder she hopes that itâ€™s all just forgotten.
