Eminem made a triumphant appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend in promotion of his highly-anticipated album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' and he pulled out all the stops for fans as he not only performed tracks from the record but he was joined on stage by music legend Rick Rubin and songstress Skylar Grey.
The 41-year-old made an appearance on this weekend's SNL which was co-hosted by 'Scandal' actress Kerry Washington, and stormed the stage as Slim Shady performing 'MMLP2's' lead single 'Berzerk' for which he was joined by iconic producer Rick Rubin who mixed the decks, while he also performed album track 'Survival,' which is featured in the video game Call of Duty: Ghosts, alongside Dr. Dre protege Skylar Grey who lent her sultry vocals to the track.

Eminem fans are no doubt racing to download the rapper's new album which has been released in the UK today and is his first since 2010's 'Recovery,' although the album suffered a leak prematurely early last week meaning fans have been able to hear the tracks prior to buying.
The LP is already on course to score yet another hit for Eminem, who so far has racked up five number one albums throughout his career, with his Rihanna collaboration titled 'The Monster' soaring to number one in the UK. The single proved to be a surprise underdog with One Direction expected to top the countdown with 'Story Of My Life' which was leading the way in the midweek charts.
Eminem also has another reason to celebrate this week after winning the Artist of the Year gong at the first ever YouTube Music Awards last night, beating the likes of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, One Direction, Rihanna and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who have all released albums and singles throughout the year while Em has been absent for most of the year only releasing new material this month.
