Ariana Grande Hits The Studio For Work On Second Album As Fans Await 'Right There' Music Video

The star only released her debut album 'Yours Truly' a few weeks ago

Ariana Grande certainly doesn't waste time in getting to work, with the singer confirming she has begun recording on her second studio album despite only releasing her debut effort 'Yours Truly' just a matter of weeks ago.

The 20-year-old, whose fans are eagerly anticipating the premiere of the 'Right There' music video, announced that she has been hitting the recording studio this week to get to work on her second studio album, recruiting producer and songwriter Harmony Samuels once again to recreate the magic of her first single 'The Way.'

“Back at it in the studio with @HarmonySamuels recording for the second album. So exciteddddd,” Ariana told her Twitter followers yesterday.

30-year-old Harmony, who has worked with the likes of Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson and Brandy, reciprocated Ariana's affection, tweeting back: “@ArianaGrande my sis came to the studio and killed it on our first day. Has to be one of the most amazing singers I have ever worked with.”

Continuing the love-in, Ariana replied: “[love] you big bro @HarmonySamuels, you are incredible,” before later adding: “Had an amazing session tonight I love making music. Hope y'all had a good day. Now only #24hoursUntilRightThereVideo! Who's getting excited?”

Ariana has been teasing the exciting premiere of the music video for her latest single, which features G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean, releasing a preview clip of the visuals which see Ariana dressed in costume as Marie Antoinette, fanning herself while surrounded by dancers.

The full length video is set to premiere tomorrow (October 30). Ariana recently gushed about working with Big Sean on the track and revealed that the catchy number is actually a follow-up to 'The Way.'

“'Right There' was originally supposed to be 'The Way' part two which is a really cool thing for me so the melody kind of ties into 'The Way' and I love that about it,” Ariana told EntertainmentWise.

“I think it's a cool tie into it like, 'Okay here's what this girl has coming next.'”

Gushing over the 'Dance (A$$)' rapper, Ariana added: “I love what Big Sean did to it, I love the song.” “Yeah, 'Right There' is very special to me, I love the song and we just shot the video which should be coming out this month and it's really cool,” she continued.
