Jason Aldean’s tour bus hit and killed a man in Indiana on Monday morning, Jason’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly. Jason was onboard the bus at the time of the accident.
The victim, Albert Kennedy, walked into the path of the bus on U.S. Highway 41 around 1:30 a.m. He was announced dead on the scene.
“With a heavy heart, I’m sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana,” Jason wrote on his WhoSay account on Monday.

Jason asked for thoughts and prayers for Kennedy’s family in the wake of his passing.
“I’m praying for Albert Kennedy’s family and friends today and ask that you do the same,” he said.
The accident was clearly a shock for the country singer.
“In all the years I’ve been touring and all the miles we’ve driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen.”
Jason will perform next at the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 6.
That same night he’ll appear in a one-on-one interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts for a special 20/20 edition. They’ll discuss Jason’s "fame, family, and tabloid headlines he says helped end his marriage”, according to Us.
