Orlando Bloom says Miranda Kerr may not be his friend anymore but they are still family even though they are separated.
The couple released a joint statement on Friday revealing they had amicably split for the last few months which shocked fans of the couple and their two-year-old son Flynn.
The British actor and Australian model’s marital problems had been kept well under wraps and they were last spotted looking like a happy family on October 8.
Orlando appeared in New York City that same day and spoke about his estranged wife when asked by a TMZ videographer if they were pals.
"We're not friends. We're family," he admitted.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star kept his gaze on his mobile phone as he walked to a waiting car and confessed he wished things could have ended up differently.
"It's all good," he said. "Life's a mystery. Things don't always work out the way you want, but it's all good."
Orlando and Miranda started dating in 2007, got engaged in June 2010 and secretly wed the following month.
Then in August she announced she was pregnant with their first baby.
In September Miranda – who used to work for Victoria’s Secret - supported Orlando at the opening of his Broadway show Romeo and Juliet.
