Katy Perry has ensured that fans are eagerly anticipating the release of her next studio album 'Prism' after teasing them with a trailer for the record a week before it is set for release.
The teaser clip sees a female worker, presumed to be Katy, pushing boxes filled with copies of 'Prism' through a store while whistling the record's lead single 'Roar.' The woman's identity isn't revealed during the seven-second clip and only her brightly-patterned finger nails and purple jumpsuit are visible.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer made an appearance on the US' Saturday Night Live this weekend to promote the album and gave a wild performance of 'Roar,' which has enjoyed several weeks at the top of the chart, while also singing album track 'Walking On Air' which looks set to be the second single lifted from the LP.
Earlier this month, Katy revealed that she brought the release of 'Prism' forward from next year after completing the record earlier than expected. Speaking to Billboard, Katy said: “In May I sat down with my managers and said, 'Guys, I think I'm going to have everything ready enough to come out this fourth quarter.' We weren't really thinking we'd be able to put anything out until February , but you don't want to sit on something that's about to burst.”

She added: “I didn't want to do Teenage Dream 2.0. Teenage Dream was highly conceptual, super-pop art. Prism is more organic, au natural, vulnerable and honest, but still has the same amount of fun.”
'Prism' has been heavily produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, both of whom also worked on her previous albums 'One Of The Boys' and 'Teenage Dream,' and features a collaboration with rapper Juicy J on 'Dark Horse.'
