One Direction Unveil 'Midnight Memories' Album Cover After Announcing New Single 'Story Of My Life'

The LP will be out on November 25

One Direction have treated fans to a double surprise this week as they not only announced their brand new single 'Story Of My Life,' but they have now unveiled the artwork for their upcoming album 'Midnight Memories.'

The 'Live While We're Young' hitmakers are preparing to release their third album on November 25 and the final touches are coming together nicely with the band finally releasing the cover art for the record. The relatively simple artwork shows Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan standing beside each other while walking towards the camera with the album title in large block letters at the bottom.

As if that wasn't enough, earlier in the day, 1D announced the second single which will be lifted from 'Midnight Memories,' titled 'Story of My Life' and also released the cover art for the track which sees the heartthrobs casually sitting on a street pavement. Lyrics from the song which is yet to premiere can also be seen on the artwork, including: “The story of my life I take her home/I drive all night to keep her warm... Is frozen (the story of, story of) The story of my life I give her hope, I spend her love until she's broke inside.”

After announcing the single, the lads shared adorable photos from their childhood, complete with dodgy clothes and hairstyles.

'Story Of My Life' follows hot on the heels of the album's lead single 'Best Song Ever,' which was released this summer and shot to number one in several countries. The track also featured as the soundtrack to their first ever 3D concert movie 'This Is Us.'

Speaking of the album recently, Harry admitted that the group were nervous to be releasing a new record.

“This is the bit where everyone kind of experiences the same feeling. There's a lot of stuff where, in terms of people we work with like the record label who are always doing different jobs - it's now like we've all worked towards this...It's about to come out so everyone's a bit nervous,” Harry told Australian radio hosts Fifi and Jules.
