Kim Kardashian's mum Kris Jenner may be dealing with the breakdown of her 22 year marriage to Bruce Jenner but it looks like Kim's own love life is heading in the opposite direction, as rumours that Kanye West has proposed to the star intensify.
Kim and Kanye welcomed their baby daughter North back in June and it sounds like the rapper may have finally put a ring on it too.
A new report from new! magazine claims Kanye popped the question to Kim during a low key proposal in Paris this month. The rapper is believed to have made the grand gesture on the last day of their romantic getaway to the French capital where the stylish pair took in the Fashion Week festivities.
"He slipped her a hand-scribbled note," a source has told the magazine of the big moment. "It read simply, 'Will U?'," the insider added.
Kim apparently couldn't believe her eyes and "nearly fainted" when she read it. Despite the sweet moment, it's not known if Kanye was actually serious about the 'proposal' and there's been no sign of a ring since the couple jetted home.
The latest marriage rumours follow another report that Kanye is the one pushing for a wedding but the new mum is said to be reluctant to take the plunge after her messy divorce from Kris Humphries.
Kim and Kanye have been together for 18 months but according to the New York Daily News the Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty just won't budge when it comes to the subject of marriage. “Kanye is obsessed with her,” a source close to the star revealed. “He always has been. He has begged her to get married a few times; it’s Kim that’s saying ‘not yet."
According to the insider, momager Kris is keen for her daughter to tie the knot with West. She recently gushed about the rapper during an interview in the US and said he was an "amazing" father to her grand-daughter North. "When someone lives down the hall, I see somebody who's -- I love him so much," she said during an interview on Hello Ross in the US earlier this week. "He's such an amazing boyfriend to Kim and a great dad and a wonderful person."
Whilst Kris gushes over her potential future son-in-law, the star's own marriage to Bruce Jenner is over as it was confirmed yesterday that the couple have separated after over two decades together.
An insider told E! News: “It's been coming for a while. Kris is in a good place about it, she accepted it and is very focused on other aspects of her life. Obviously it is very sad for everyone, but it's no surprise and everyone has had time to adapt to this new reality.”
