Olivia Wilde has been hitting red carpets across the globe during her recent promotion of Forumla One drama Rush co starring Chris Hemsworth, but finally it seems the 29 year-old has had some time to relax as she was spotted hanging out with friends in New York on Sunday.
The brunette babe, who plays hunk Hemsworth's love interest in the movie, rocked her best street style as she caught up with friends in the Big Apple yesterday in a navy blue baseball t-shirt, grey jeans and Ray Ban style sunglasses.

The 29 year-old looked relieved to leave the glamour of the red carpet behind as she headed out for the day in the dressed down outfit. While she might be glad the promo trail is over, Wilde admitted at the Rush London premiere that she'd really enjoyed working with Aussie hunk Chris.
She told BangShowbiz when asked if he was one of her favourite actors: "Oh, absolutely. Yup ... definitely ... Amazing. He's so professional, he's so amazing, and he's so sweet. You can't ask for anything more."

Olivia wasn't just sitting around for the rest of the weekend though and on Saturday supported fiance Jason Sudesikis at the 2013 Global Citizen Festival to end extreme poverty in New York where the likes of U2 and the Kings Of Leon performed at the anti-poverty event.
The couple confirmed their engagement in January after less than a year of dating. But it seems their romance might not have happened at all if the House actress hadn't asked the 37 year-old out.

She confessed to Allure magazine: "I met Jason, and I thought he was so charming. He's a great dancer and I'm a sucker for great dancers. But he didn't even get my number.”
The couple met back in 2011 on the set of U.S sketch show Saturday Night Live and bumped into each other a few more times afterwards.
Unfortunately Jason failed to read the signs each time and did not ask for the actress' digits. Frustrated Olivia was forced to take matters into her own hands and decided to get a friend to give him her number instead:
"Over the next six months we kept running into each other. (One night), my best guy friend walked up to him and said, 'This is Olivia's number. Use it.' That was the beginning."
