Diana Vickers On Former X Factor Mentor Cheryl Cole's Tattoo: 'Just Let Her Do It'

But it's not something Diana would go for!

Diana Vickers has spoken out on the controversial tattoo that currently resides on her former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's bottom but - despite being against tats herself - she reckons that people should leave poor Cheryl alone because it's her body and she can do what she wants!

She might have had fallings out with some of her contestants in the past - cough, Cher Lloyd, cough - but Diana Vicker's is certainly staying loyal to her X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole and has even spoken out exclusively to EntertainmentWise about her new tattoo.

When asked about what she thought about the ink, Diana said: "I think it's her body and she can do whatever she wants with it. Just let her do it."

However despite supporting Cheryl's daring design the Once singer has admitted that due to her easily bored nature it's not something she'd look to do herself.

When we asked her if she'd look to get an inking in the future the 22-year-old told us: "I don't think I would. I'm not really a tattoo kind of person. I can admire someone else's art but I'm one of those people - I get sick of a jumper if I wear it three times, let alone if I had something on my body. I'd just go a bit mad."

Despite her loyalties however, the Boy Who Murdered Love singer also confessed that she and Cheryl see very little of one another.

"When I see her obviously it's so lovely and it's always really great but we have totally separate lives." The singer revealed before jokingly adding, "She's probably off in L.A. with her gorgeous boyfriend and I'm here in London doing my album, doing my acting, so we're just worlds apart."

Diana - who has recently released new album Music to Make Boys Cry - also spoke out about this year's X Factor and it's previously dwindling ratings. She said: "I think people do get bored of the same thing over and over again. If I was going to give it any advice, I'd just say go away for a few years and come back and do it again and people will get excited.

"Go out and really explore new talent and give people time to grow. I think when you're ramming the same thing down people's throats every year then maybe that's why people get sick of it."

The former X Factor contestant even believes the show is different to how it was when she was on it back in 2008. "When i was on it, it was really exciting, it was like the third series and really, really fresh and Cheryl was the new judge and everyone was really different wherease now it just gets a bit samey."
