Miley Cyrus has had everyone from Harry Styles to Rihanna twerking this summer and now she'll no doubt have people swinging on balls following the premiere of her 'Wrecking Ball' music video which has prompted a middle-aged man to recreate the clip while completely naked on a tyre.
The 20-year-old marked one of her most shocking moments to date when she premiered the music video for her latest single, which shows the controversial star strip off to swing on a giant wrecking ball entirely in the nude while also involved with some racy antics with a sledgehammer.
Miley Cyrus has raised eyebrows with her 'Wrecking Ball' video (YouTube)
With 'Wrecking Ball' becoming the most-viewed video on VEVO in 24 hours after clocking up more than 19 million hits, it was only a matter of time before someone out there spoofed the controversial visuals.
One rather brave man has done just that, deciding to recreate his own version, and yes, he is very naked. While he didn't have a large wrecking ball at his disposal, the man in question made good use of a spare rubber tyre and rope in his back garden, no doubt making for a very uncomfortable ride.
Posting the clip on Vine, the man who goes by the name Frank McDonald, wrote the caption: “#NailedIt part 1 #wrecking ball #comedy.”
Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus has jumped to his daughter's defence over the video and believes it wouldn't have mattered if she had worn more clothes in the clip.
“I'm a song man. A musician singer-songwriter who loves all styles of music,” Billy Ray told Entertainment Tonight. “But again... I come from the old school where it starts with an artist and a song... colliding if you will... in a moment where the song, the singer, the producer, the band and the listener become one."
“It wouldn't have mattered if Miley would have worn jeans and a flannel shirt... a Tux... or a nun's habit. The song's a smash... and her performance vocally on the tune reflects her roots and sheer God-given talent.”
