Sir Elton John says Lady Gaga has a very hands on role as godmother to his two children with husband David Furnish.
The 66-year-old star named Gaga as godmother to sons Zachary and Elijah following their respective births by the same surrogate mother on December 25 2010 and January 11 2013.
But while one would assume the outlandish star's tireless promotional campaign for forthcoming third album ARTPOP would keep her busy, Sir Elton says she still has time to indulge the two children.
He said: “She (Gaga) does baths and sings to them. She's a wonderful godmother.”

The New York born star recently divided fans with the theatrics that surrounded her opening performance at the iTunes Festival in London – during which she debuted eight new songs from her imminent long-player.
Referring to Gaga by her real name, Sir Elton admits the 27-year-old is too focussed on the concept of fame.

“Stefani takes it seriously and she's a good girl, but she has the problem of being caught up in the personality cult, it's so crazy. I talk to her mum a lot about it.”
The British star had previously described her as a 'role model.'
“She's a great role model, she's young, (and) she's been a great godmother to Zachary,” he said. “We're all bonkers in this business, but we're human beings at the same time.”
