Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge 'Closer Than Ever To Mum Carole After Help With Baby Prince George'

New parents are said to bevery grateful for all Carole and Michael's help

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge has recently become a mum for the first time and according to a new report it's helped her grow closer to her own mum Carole Middleton, who has been with her every step of the way with as she gets to grips with becoming a mum to baby Prince George.

Kate spent the first three weeks of motherhood at her parents' home in Bucklebury, Berkshire following the birth of baby George on July 22 before returning to her home on Angelsey, North Wales with Prince William where mum Carole reportedly accompanied her.

With Kate determined to be a hands on mum and not leave the job to a nanny, Carole's guidance is said to have been the biggest help to the Duchess, with the royal very thankful to her mum, so much so her and William are planning a big thank you.

"Unsurprisingly, as a result [of the stay in Berkshire], Kate and Carole are closer than ever," a source told Look Magazine.

"The duke and duchess are so grateful, they plan to treat Kate's parents to a break in Paris in October to say thank you.

"First they have the big move back to London to make. There's a lot on their plate at the moment but they're looking forward to this fresh start as a family."

William and Kate will be leaving Angelsey after three and a half years when William's posting as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot comes to an end next month. Confirming the news at the Angelsey Show earlier this month, William said: "I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and as welcoming as Anglesey. The views across the Menai Straits are undoubtedly among the most stunning in the British Isles.

"'I know that both of us will miss it terribly when my Search and Rescue tour of duty comes to an end next month and we have to move elsewhere. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here, as you do thousands of visitors each year."

Kate was spotted out for the first time yesterday since leave hospital as she shopped at Waitrose supermarket near her home and looked healthy and relaxed as she stocked up on groceries for her new family. While it was great to see the Duchess getting stuck into life as a mum, her trim new figure really caught the eye as just five weeks after giving birthshe appears to have lost all her baby weight.

"She's hardly done anything to lose the weight . . . She looks incredible," a close family source reportedly told Us Weekly, "Kate's still breastfeeding and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga."

"They've been in Anglesey for almost a couple of weeks and their lives are much more active there -- lots of walking, lots of time in the outdoors," the insider went on, "And the weather has been great. I'm sure they have been making the most of it."

In the trolley it appeared the new mum had bought bottles of red wine and pizzas so it doesn't exactly seem she's on a diet!
