Lady Gaga has finally premiered the music video for her brand new single 'Applause,' and it may be one of her raunchiest yet with the controversial pop star cavorting around for most of the clip half naked.
The dance track, which is the lead single to be lifted from Gaga's upcoming third album 'ARTPOP,' premiered earlier this week and has been in a tight battle with Katy Perry's comeback single 'Roar' which is expected to top the charts in the US this week.

After weeks of teasing, Gaga finally unveiled the 'Applause' visuals on Good Morning America today, and it will no doubt cause a stir with the singer writhing around for what is no doubt her sexiest video yet.
One racy scene sees Gaga standing on a podium completely naked with only sea shells covering her modesty while she performs a choreographed routine in black lacy underwear. Another racy shot in particular shows Gaga once again in the nude while pairs of black gloved hands cover her sensitive areas.
The video has received mixed reviews so far with one Gaga fan describing it as a “masterpiece.” @duchessboob tweeted: “Lady Gaga - Applause amazing is all I can say :O watch gaga's new masterpiece!!!” (sic)

However, others failed to understand Gaga's attempt at creating an artistic piece, with @ahmedqassim2 writing: “Omg lady gaga s new music video is the most stupid video ever watched ! Is that art ?Music ?”
@mcarthurjoseph quipped: “It's official. Lady Gaga is kind of a joke and the #Applause video was the punch line.”
'Applause' has failed to set the charts on fire so far, expected to sell in the region of 200,000 while Katy Perry's 'Roar' is predicted to shift more than 500,000 copies.
