Rebel Wilson has revealed that she was turned away from Anna Kendrick's birthday party, despite the pair becoming close on the set of Pitch Perfect.
The comic actress was eventually allowed in to the swanky bash at Skybar, but bouncers originally didn't give her a second glance.
The incident has inspired a plot in her new sitcom Super Fun Night, which launches in October.

She reveals to Cosmopolitan: "In the plot, my character gets invited to drinks, but she can't get into the club - that happened to me recently at Skybar.
"Anna Kendrick was having her birthday party there, and it was a fancy place."
She explained: "So I get there with Hana Mae Lee from Pitch Perfect, and I've got a birthday gift so I'm clearly going to the party, and this big huge bouncer wouldn't even look us in the face.
"We were like, 'Hi...' and then two models came and he let them in."
Despite not being recognised, Wilson didn't replicate a certain actress's embarrassing "Do you know I am?" episode from earlier this year.
"I didn't pull the Reese Witherspoon," she quipped. "He had a list, and I said, 'Excuse me, we're on the list."
Rebel has won plaudits for her roles in Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, and she also hosted the MTV Movie Awards earlier this year. Her new sitcom debuts in two months' time.
