David Bowie is amongst the artists receiving a lifetime achievement award at this year�s Grammy Awards.
The legend will receive the prestigious gong along with Cream, Merle Haggard and the late-great Richard Pryor.
Bowie and co. will be formally acknowledged on February 7 and will then receive the physical award at the main ceremony a day later.
Other lifetime honourees this year include blues star Robert Johnson, opera singer Jessye Norman and folk group The Weavers.
The Grammy Awards are held at the Los Angeles Staple Center.
