Aubrey Plaza has revealed that she was in for more than she bargained for when it came to filming a masturbation scene for her new movie The To-Do List.
The actress takes the lead in the new low-budget comedy, centred around a High School graduate desperate to lose her virginity before she moves on to college.
The star of TV's Parks and Recreation has now admitted that one particularly sexual scene was a lot more awkward to film than she had anticipated, thanks to an unwanted audience and a revealing camera angle.

Speaking on Conan, she recalled: "I read it on the page and it said 'Brandy masturbates', and in my head I envisioned a nice scene where you just see my hand slowly go out of frame. That’s what I thought I was going into.
"But then when I showed up, the camera was mounted on the ceiling, I was in my underwear and a Clinton tee shirt, and there were a bunch of old men smoking. You know, the crew guys!”
Plaza, who plays a character 19 years younger than her real age in the film, is joined by Hart Of Dixie star Rachel Bilson and comedy heavyweight Andy Samberg in the cast. It's out in US cinemas this weekend (July 26) and has already been garnering some positive reviews.
The film premiered earlier this week, with guests including the likes of Spy Kids actress Alexa Vega, who was sporting a not-so-flattering ensemble of jean shorts, black vest top and strappy black stilettos; as well as teen actress Jennette McCurdy and Parenthood's Sarah Ramos.
