Ellen Pearson, the widow and third wife of Robert Kardashian is set to sue his family. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob's step-mum married their father shortly before his death, a decade ago.
The Kardashians filed suit against Ellen Pearson, who has been accused of selling the late lawyer’s diaries and personal photos to the tabloids.
The stories portrayed Kris Jenner in a poor light, the family slammed Pearson via Twitter.

According to Gossip Cop, the Kardashians accused the widow of carrying out a “despicable and unlawful scheme to hold in secret and convert, and now exploit … private personal and copyright protected” material, and asking for “at least” $500,000 in damages.
Pearson has now asked a judge to allow her to file counterclaims, declaring the family hit her with the lawsuit by hiring a private detective Jake Schmidt to get the low-down on her, as a stunt for their reality show – to boost the ratings.
The Daily Mail have reported that Pearson’s legal team have said, “Empty handed from his unsuccessful attempt to entrap Ellen, Jake apparently went back to the Kardashians and they were forced to air what little information he was able to gather,
“The episode called 'Enough is Enough' was simply a vehicle to bash her state the legal papers.

“It all adds up to a seedy attempt by the reality TV family to entrap Ellen as part of a scheme to create ratings.”
The filing also indicates that if Pearson's counterclaims go ahead, she may also file them against Ryan Seacrest, the producer of the family’s show and his production company.
A hearing for the matter will happen in August.
