Beyonce 'Scrapped New Album And Started Again,' According To Producer Diplo

The singer is apparently working on a 'whole new collection'

Beyonce has allegedly scrapped her new album and decided to start all over again, according to producer Diplo, who has been working with the star on the eagerly-anticipated LP.

Diplo has said that his submissions "haven't made the final cut", as the record was cancelled, with Bey apparently working on a whole new collection.

"I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried," Diplo told The Sun, adding: "I think she scrapped the record."

He continued: "The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas.

"I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records."

Diplo also revealed that he has been working on new material for Katy Perry's album, saying: "She's so confident and has a great voice.

"I always worry about making the pop tracks too weird, but then if people want a Diplo record they must know I'm going to be f**king weird."

The producer speaks out just days after Beyonce's hubby Jay-Z said that fans have got a treat in store when it comes to the upcoming LP.

“Right now, Bey has 100,000 amazing songs, just playing 'em,” Jay-Z told Hot 97's Angie Martinez.

When Angie quizzed Hova on what the power couple get up to when they preview their tracks, he joked: “Yeah, [we] dance to it in our socks.”

The 43-year-old also revealed that he and Beyonce, who are parents to one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, have plans to expand their small brood.

“Absolutely, god willing,” Jay-Z told the radio host, adding: “Get this little basketball team going. ... It's all part of the elaborate plan.”
