Ed Sheeran has reportedly admitted that before he was a star, he would often skip showers.
The 'A Team' singer often found himself with nowhere to go, and was forced to sit on a London Underground train all day without washing.
Ed told the Daily Star: "Sometimes when I didn't have a place to shower, I'd wait for the Tube to open up at five AM and sit on the Circle Line and go round and round. I wouldn't shower."
The 22-year-old singer openly admitted that he had nowhere to stay once he had begun his journey towards being a famous musician.
The star said: "I couch surfed and floor surfed sometimes. Once I was staying at this student house and had a shower, but didn't have a towel."
The singer then went on to describe his innovative solution for his lack of a towel, and explained: "This lad had a Green Day poster, I literally just scraped the water off with it."

Ed certainly has had a bumpy ride, and found it hard to break into the music industry because he didn't have the right image. He said: "Every single label I had gone to at the time had told me this song wasn't a hit. They said this song wouldn't work. And the fact that I was slightly chubby and ginger was not a good 'marketing tool' for them."
Sheeran could not be further from his past now, having won two BRIT awards and recently partied with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez at the Billboard Music Awards. The singer is even supporting Taylor Swift on her Red Tour. Ed assured the Daily Star: "Now, I shower every day." We should hope so!
