The Rolling Stones took to the Hyde Park stage in London last night to play their first gig at the location since 1969 and it seems like their fans were definitely left impressed, as many were quick to take to Twitter to share their Saturday night experiences.
The rockers took to the stage to headline the second day of brand new festival Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time, one week after going down a storm at the Glastonbury Festival for the first time ever.
One fan tweeted this morning: "Rolling Stones were fucking amazing yesterday. Best day." (sic)
Another then added: "Last night the @RollingStones were so much fun! Mick Taylor on fire for Midnight Rambler, best I've ever seen it."
And one user said that she'd had her mind blown by the event, posting: "@RollingStones were immense last nite. Literally blew me away! #StonesHydePark #Stones50"
If you weren't lucky enough to pay last night's show a visit, fans who missed out may be able to watch it later in the year, thanks to a rumoured DVD release.

Pre Hyde Park performance, Mick Jagger spoke to Absolute Radio and admitted he was looking forward to the two shows.
“It'll be fun...(we are looking) forward to doing these two shows in Hyde Park, the last two shows of...this tour so we're gonna make them the best we can...maybe there'll be things beyond that, but right now this is the summer then we have a bit of a break.”
The 69-year old also hinted that, despite the hiatus, new music could be forthcoming at some point in the future. “I'm always writing new songs so hopefully we'll do new songs one of these days soon,” he said.
