50 Cent has laughed off claims he kicked an ex-girlfriend during a heated argument at her home in a series of 'humorous' pictures.
The rapper – real name Curtis Jackson – is accused of ransacking former girlfriend Daphne Joy's Los Angeles apartment, forcing his way into the bedroom where she was hiding and kicking her.
While police officers were called to the scene on June 23, arriving some time after 50 departed, a warrant hasn't been issued for his arrest, although he has been charged with five misdemeanour’s - one for domestic violence and four for vandalism.
“Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him,” Scott Leemon, 50's lawyer, said in a statement earlier this week. “We have been in contact with the LA City Attorney's Office and are currently conducting our own investigation.”
Big trouble: Fiddy will be arraigned later this month for a domestic incident at the home of his former girlfriend (WENN)
The 37-year-old has since made light of the incident by posting a number of photos on picture messaging service Instagram to confirm that he is 'still free.'
One of those images sees him kitchen at his home with the accompanying caption: “I'm not in jail I'm in my kitchen fool.”
In what appears to a recurrent them another shows him chilling out in his living room – the obligatory caption reads: “I'm not in jail I'm on my Gucci couch.”
Other shots in the series show him relaxing by the pool and hanging out in a casino, all with similar accompanying messages.
In the final image fiddy is seated at his piano, beneath the caption: “OK I'm not in jail but if I go I'm taking this piano with me.”
50 dated Joy for more than 3-years, during which time she gave birth to their child. The rapper will be arraigned on July 22.
If found guilty, he faces up to five-years behind bars as well as $46,000 (£30,500) in fines.
