50 Cent has cancelled an upcoming promotional trip to the UK for his headphone range this week after he was charged for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
The 'New Day' rapper stands accused of attacking the mother of one of his two children and vandalising her property last month during an argument and was later charged with the alleged offences.

In light of his legal troubles, the rapper has reportedly cancelled an appearance at an Argos store in Birmingham on July 8 where he was due to promote his SMS Audio headphones range, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
BBC News reports that 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, caused £4,700 ($7,100) worth of damage to his ex-girlfriend's property, however, he now denies attacking her.
50 Cent's New York attorney, Scott Leemo has released a statement this evening: ''Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest."
"(We) are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations.''
50 Cent is reportedly due to appear in court on July 22.
