Keeping Up With The Kardashians' newest recruit Brody Jenner has defended the show, declaring that everything the viewers see is real.
Having stepped into reality TV when he appeared on The Hills, Brody - whose dad is Bruce Jenner - has revealed that he is happy to appear on KUWTK because it's real. Revealing that he authorised the cameras to film his serious chat with his dad for the series, Brody told Digital Spy:
"As far as the Kardashians go, that's real life. I was going through that with my father pretty much just on a daily basis, getting to know him. And they were filming for their show, and they basically said to me, 'Do you want to put this on air or do you not?' And I had a think about it and I pretty much said yes, because I believe there are a lot of good things that can come out of this."

Believing the cameras actually contributed to the improvement of his relationship with Bruce, Brody added: "I think the cameras really kind of sparked us to take it to the next level, to really get to know each other on a different level and I'm so grateful for it.
"So that's the difference between The Hills and the Kardashians. It's two completely different worlds."
Having built up a good relationship with his dad, Brody also revealed that he has also become close to the Kardashian sisters, in particular Kim and Khloe. He continued to comment:
"Absolutely. I have never felt so close to that side of the family than I do now, with Khloe and Kimberly. To be honest, Kim and I saw each other a lot over the past five, six years, just as far as Hollywood stuff and events.
"When I was doing The Hills - and I was on that for five years - then I would see Kim all the time, just out and about at events and stuff like that."
