Richie Sambora has allegedly hit back at Jon Bon Jovi for claiming the guitarist was an easily replaceable part of the band.
Richie quit the group’s world tour in April this year due to personal reasons and it appears to have caused a feud between the band mates.
A source has revealed to RadarOnline.com that Richie wrote a three worded email saying “Hire The Edge”, in response to Jon Bon Jovi suggesting in a recent interview that the guitarist was easier to replace than the famous U2 guitarist.
The Bon Jovi front man explained: ''Life goes on, so if someone chooses not to be here... unlike if this were, God forbid, The Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show, [then] it would be very difficult to just step in.''
Jon, 51, has also hinted that the Richie Sambora quit the tour due to substance abuse issues he has suffered with in the past.

A band source revealed: “Richie was so pissed off and insulted with The Edge comment that he couldn’t bite his tongue any longer. He sent Jon an email, but Jon did not respond. Jon hasn’t called Richie once since this all began. It would seem that he does not want the band back together.”
Jon Bon Jovi has publicly revealed that Richie Sambora is still a member of Bon Jovi, but could this email finally force the guitarist to leave the group for good?
Richie hinted to the Daily Mail last month that he may return to the group for their London tour date saying, “let’s see what happens”.
Bon Jovi will be taking their Because We Can world tour to London’s Hyde Park on July 5.
