'Little Britain' Comes Out On Top

�Little Britain� came out on top last night at the 16th annual British Comedy Awards.

The comedy show by Matt Lucas and David Walliams beat Ricky Gervais� �Extras� to win the Best TV Comedy of 2005 award.

Despite Gervais missing out his co-star on the show, Ashley Jensen, walked away with two awards; Best Television Comedy Actress and Best Comedy Newcomer.

The award for Best Television Comedy Actor surprisingly went to Chris Langham for his roles in �In The Thick Of It� and �Help�.
