Katherine Jackson's lawyer has assured fans that Paris Jackson is "physically fine" and receiving medical attention following reports of an apparent suicide attempt on June 5.
The 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe was rushed to a nearby medical centre from the sprawling Jackson estate in Calabasas, California in the early hours of Wednesday morning, media outlets are reporting today.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, former nurse Rowe, 54, confirmed the teenager's hospitalisation and revealed her daughter had 'a lot going on' in the weeks leading up to today's incident.

According to TMZ Paris left her home on a stretcher after paramedics responded to a 911 call at 1:27am – although separate claims of the teen receiving treatment for 'multiple cuts on her wrists' and an 'attempted overdose' remain unconfirmed at the time of writing.
Perry Saunders, a lawyer for Katherine Jackson's, Paris' grandmother has now given more information to USA TODAY: "Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy," Saunders said.
Rowe's lawyer, Eric George, meanwhile issued a statement to the same publicaiton which reads, "We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and the respect for the family's privacy."
