Britain's Got Talent Winners: Where Are They Now?

We take a look over the past winners and what they have been up to

Britain's Got Talent isn't just stealing our Saturday nights anymore. It's occupying our TV screens every day as semi finals take place, so as this year's competition approaches an end let's take a look at past winners and what they have been up to since their victory.

Paul Potts
The former Carphone Warehouse manager took to the stage in 2007,and charmed the judges and viewers with his voice. With his powerful opera performances he was bound to have a successful career as we watched an star emerging in front of our eyes. His debut album 'One Chance' sold an impressive 3.5 million copies and he has embarked on a world tour. One Chance, a Hollywood film about the star's rise to fame is also in the making and playing the singer?  None other than actor, writer and Tony award winner James Corden!

George Samson
The street dancer made a great impression with his tricky dance moves and bubbly energy. At only 14, it looked like winning BGT would be the start of a glittering career. However in 2009 Simon Cowell dumped him as he didn't take off as well as expected. He has starred in StreetDance 3D and has made several TV appearances.

Diversity
The dance troupe are still reaping the benefits of their Britain's Got Talent victory, one that shocked many viewers at the time when Susan Boyle was expected to take the crown. As well as performing at Wireless Festival, the launch of Disney XD (Disney's new channel) and in front Of Gordon Brown, they have also been on tour selling out the O2 arena with a standing ovation. Ashley has made use of his judging skills by mentoring contestants on 'Got To Dance' alongside Kimberly Wyatt and Adam Garcia.

Spelbound
Another shock winner as Spelbound took the victory from favourites Twist and Pulse. The gymnastic troop have performed at various venues and appeared in advertisements. They performed at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, have released a DVD and travelled around the world to places including Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Dubai. They have made amendments to their line up since their time on the show.

Jai McDowall
The Scottish singer was signed to the prestigious Syco label after coming first place on Britain's Got Talent, but was dropped in 2012. The release of his debut album 'Believe' in December 2011 didn't gain as much success as hoped. He performed a sell out headline show at the Grand Hall Kilmarnock and he's even inherited a nick name from the show. 'Jai- Bo' is what he is referred to, and he is happy with the comparison as he said if he has half as much success as Susan he will be very pleased.

Ashleigh and Pudsey

Ashleigh and Pudsey took the world by storm with their routines and won the show last year.
The lucky pair get to travel in Simon Cowell's private jet and he even gets a dog treadmill to keep him fit. Since the show,Ashleigh has been given a radical transformation. She now presents CBBC show 'Who Let The Dogs Out And About?' and is preparing Pudsey for their first feature film.  They have been to LA and she even got the chance to sit with Morgan Freeman when they appeared on the Jay Leno show.

Who are your bets on for this year?
