Lindsay Lohan has got an unlikely supporter in the form of The Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann, who has revealed he is praying for the troubled star.
LiLo has been hitting the headlines for her drama-filled rehab stint whilst Baz is the man of the moment after his latest film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, opened in cinemas this month.
The 50-year-old Australian movie maker has revealed that he and Lindsay actually go way back: ''I have known Lindsay since she was very young. She's a talented girl. I pray that she can bring herself back to the place where she came from because she is a talented actress. I feel for her, I really do," he told Aussie talk show Dirty Laundry Live.

Perhaps we could be seeing Linds in Baz's next film? The star will have an uphill struggle to get her career back on track though, she's currently in the middle of her court ordered rehab stint, which will be followed by 30 days of community service as part of her probation.
Lindsay isn't the only tabloid favourite Baz has been gushing over though, with the acclaimed movie maker also showing his support for Kim Kardashian:
''I met her the other night, about two weeks ago. I had dinner with her and Kanye at a friend's place. She's an extraordinarily elegant woman, pregnant. I was really struck by her grace," he revealed.
