J Lo and Affleck were engaged to married for a number of months before going their separate ways after the joint film project �Gigli� magnificently flopped.
Affleck and his wife and �Daredevil� co-star Jennifer Garner welcomed baby Violet into the world last week.
Lopez has since married actor/singer Marc Anthony and was said to be happy for the couple.
A friend of J Lo�s said: "She'll always have a special place in her heart for Ben."
