Pippa Middleton Attends Glamorous Vanity Fair Luncheon In Simple Get-Up (PHOTOS)

The brunette worked the 'simple but effective' look at the lunch earlier today

Pippa Middleton attended the Vanity Fair lunch earlier today and the brunette was snapped leaving the lavish event in a rather simple but effective outfit, consisting of a creased animal print skirt and white blouse.

The star-studded event at Mayfair restaurant 34 Grosvenor Square was hosted by the magazine's editor Graydon Carter, and attended by designer Tom Ford, socialite Jemima Khan and Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern.

Pippa also recycled one of her stereotypical off- white blazers and teamed it all with a pair of spotted stilletos.

Meanwhile, despite the nearly-Royal looking super clean here, she recently opened up about having to share a room with "unwashed boys" during her recent five day Haute Route cross country ski marathon earlier this year.

Writing in her latest column for the Spectator, the babe claimed while the five full days of difficult conditions was hard, it was nothing in comparison to - shock horror - sharing a room with boys.

Stating that it "was not luxury," she wrote: "The hardship on the Haute Route is not simply the physical exertion but the mountain hut experience."

The style-conscious socialite clearly took aversion to wearing shared shoes as well. "You are given a pair of Crocs," she claimed, "colour coded for size — in which to shuffle around the hut."

But the nearly royal did admit she had some fun and even hinted she got a little too drunk: "Each party is assigned a table where you eat, drink, chat and play games. None of us could work out if our headaches were from altitude or the local red wine."

But the real struggle appeared to be sharing a room with other people, specifically men, which Pips doesn't seem keen on.

"You ‘sleep’ in dormitories with numbered beds; women alongside men, who are generally unwashed and snoring,"she revealed.

"At night the cold creeps in through your thermals, but by the time you wake at 5 a.m, it feels like a sauna."

Such a hard life, eh?
