British actress Rachel Weisz is pregnant with her first child.

Weisz and her director husband, Darren Aronofsky are said to be expecting their first child next summer.

Weisz was named Best Actress at last weeks British Independent Film Awards for her role in 'The Constant Gardener', she is said to be thrilled by the news.

Speaking to the Daly Telegraph a source said: "She is three months pregnant and is absolutely thrilled. A baby was the one thing she felt had been missing in her life."

She herself recently spoke on the subject of children and said: "I'll have just one at a time, to see how it goes."

Unless its twins perhaps????
