Kelly Clarkson Announces Plans To Release New Single 'People Like Us'

The American Idol winner confirms second release from her Greatest Hits


Kelly Clarkson has confirmed that she will release 'People Like Us' as her new single.

The 'Since U Been Gone' singer recently performed the track on American Idol where she expressed her love for judge Mariah Carey.

The original American Idol winner confirmed that she had shot a video for the track on Twitter, revealing: “I just saw an edit of my People Like Us video! It's so great! Chris, the director, did an amazing job! Can't wait for y'all to see it :)”

The song will be the second single to be released from her Greatest Hits: Chapter One which includes the star's biggest hits 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)', 'Because Of You' and 'Breakaway' peaked at number 18 on the UK album charts last November.

The 31-year-old is currently working on her sixth studio album which is expected to be released at the beginning of next year.

Kelly is currently planning her wedding to boyfriend Brandon Blackstock which is reportedly taking place this autumn.
