Angelina Jolie�s father has denied he is dating The Supreme Diana Ross.

Jon Voight and Ross have both very publicly battled with alcoholism and have been seen stepping out together at various events.

They recently arrived hand-in-hand to a Hollywood tribute of Ross� 1972 film �Lady Sings The Blues�.

However, speaking during a TV interview Voight tried to quash the rumours by insisting that he had been working on a project with the singer.

He said: "We have been working on something together.

�It isn't anything romantic."

However, Ross� agent, Phil Symes, has a very different take on the matter. He has confirmed that the pair have been dating though he denied any serious relationship.

Symes said: "They have both been on dates which they enjoyed. It's still at an early stage, certainly too early to say he is the new love of her life."
