Madonna has gotten herself into trouble with the law in Russia, who are trying to ban the Queen of Pop from ever reentering the country! Madge performed in two concerts there last year but officials say she did not have the correct visa.
The Queen of Invention might now be facing massive fines for coming into Russia illegally. According to sources, Madonna's visa did not allow for her to earn money whilst in the country.
According to The Sun, one Russian MP has stated that she is guilty of "illegal commercial activity" and organisers of her Russian shows could be fined up to £10,500.
However, the decision could be more politically charged as Madonna has angered Russian officials in the past for supporting jailed girl band Pussy Riot, who were imprisoned after staging an anti-Putin demonstration in a church in Moscow.
After Pussy Riot were sentenced last year, Madge released a statement showing her support for them saying "I call on all those who love freedom to condemn this unjust punishment. I urge artists around the world to speak up in protest against this travesty. They've spent enough time in jail. I call on ALL of Russia to let Pussy Riot go free."

The Hung Up singer is also very outspoken on the subject of gay rights, which she fully supports, that might also have led to the ban.
Over her long career, Madonna has faced a lot of criticism for her political stance, risque songs and performances. It is fair to say that the 54-year-old star has not lost her touch! Her recent MDNA tour caused stirs worldwide and made headlines for the her use of guns, political images, nudity and raunchy costumes.
Hopefully fans in Russia won't be deprived of seeing the almighty Madonna for forever.
