Amanda Seyfried has spoken out on her Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan in the wake of the actress' recent troubles, revealing LiLo was "talented and bright eyed" when they worked together.
Amanda and Lindsay starred together in Tina Fey's hit 2004 comedy, with Lindsay playing the lead role of Cady Heron alongside Amanda's Karen. Whilst Amanda has gone on to star in the Oscar winning Les Miserables, Lindsay has had a rougher road with legal woes and her upcoming trip to rehab.

Back in 2004 though, Amanda reveals that she greatly admired her co-star, although the two weren't really friends. "She's talented, [pause] was [another pause]," Amanda said to Allure magazine about Lindsay. "I mean, I don't know... She was so bright-eyed."

Not exactly ringing praise but it sounds like LiLo impressed a young Amanda. The actress also revealed that she's excited at the reports the film could be turned into a Broadway musical as it means she could get the chance to play her dream Mean Girls part:
"I desperately want to be Regina, [played by Rachel McAdams]," Amanda confessed. We'd love to see Lindsay reprise her role too, wouldn't you?
