In Italy, the film opened and broke box office records by taking $9.4million; in Spain the film grossed $8million and in Brazil grossed $4.1million.
In Japan the film opened making $14.3million, the fifth highest opening of all time there. The film also opened in Belgium, Holland, Greece and Argentina making a massive impact everywhere.
Also doing well in the international box office is �Flightplan� which made $3million in the theatres this weekend, �The Exorcism Of Emily Rose� also opened grossing �2.2million.
